Don’t compromise the safety of your employees

Rely on Quantisal® oral fluid collection for convenient, reliable insights

At Quest Diagnostics, we know that having more choices when monitoring employees for drug use is essential to maintaining a drug-free workplace. For those situations when urine collection is not practical or observed collection is needed, QuantisalTM oral fluid collection is a lab-based, minimally invasive solution that is ideal for recent (24-48 hours) detection of drug use. In an observed setting, donors collect their own oral fluid sample in minutes—reducing the likelihood of donor cheating and challenging.

Why use oral fluid drug testing?

Mitigating risk of drug-related impairment and workplace accidents is paramount to protect the health of employees—and the general public. Lab-based oral fluid testing helps employers stay compliant with any drug testing requirements and prioritize employee health and safety.

Quantisal offers several benefits for employers and their employees:

Detects recent drug use—within 24-48 hours
Streamlined results reporting into confidential fax, direct interface, or web reporting via Employer Solutions Portal
Observed, tamper-resistant collections
Compliant with US Department of Transportation’s federally regulated drug testing program1*
Simple, on-site, self-collection process
*No laboratories have been approved for DOT oral fluid testing as of July 2023.

How it works

Oral fluid testing requires a small sample that is collected under direct supervision—without needing a private restroom facility. Quantisal can go right from the donor’s mouth into the transport tube—improving the user experience and helping to reduce any user error.

Specimen collection is easy—there are no modifiers on the collection pad, and the volume indicator window clearly marks when sufficient quantity of the specimen has been collected.
